In early August, Jerry Wainwright postponed an interview to spend the day learning the inner workings of DePaul's computer system...

"The corner office overlooking Sheffield and Belden Avenues is busier than the man who works in it. Every centimeter of shelf space is occupied with pictures, quotes, toy cars, news clippings and an impressive and slightly disturbing bobblehead collection.

Aside from the standard pro athletes, Wainwright has bobbleheads of rappers Snoop Dogg and 50 Cent.

"(Players) look at me a little bit differently than they did when I was 30, 35, 40," said Wainwright, who turns 59 on Feb. 11. "But I don't ever want to lose the ability to talk to them and have fun...."
