Being "Carded" for a Bobble Head

Here's a bobblehead related post from a guy who won a bobblehead prize offered by a radio station - I believe the nodder was based on one of the radio station's DJs.

One of his observations is that the station required him to show ID before they'd release the bobble head to him. But one of the people leaving a comment to his post explained why they probably did that (and it doesn't involve Homeland Security )....

"...A couple of days ago, I won a Mark Belling bobble head doll for answering a political question on his radio show. I went to the studio today to pick it up.

I was asked to show ID.

Apparently, the management at WISN and Clear Channel consider their bobble head dolls important enough to verify the identity of the recipient, yet the Democrats think that the integrity of the vote isn't important enough for identification verification."

And here's one of the comments (by "Wendy") that his post received...

"Owen, they don’t even compare. What would happen if that bobblehead got into the wrong hands? Can you imagine the chaos that would abound if just anybody had a Mark Belling bobblehead? I’m surprised you didn’t have to leave a thumbprint and provide DNA.

It’s your right to vote. Not just everybody has the right to own a Mark Belling bobblehead. Get your priorities straight!"
